PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photoreceptor having satisfactory sensitivity to light of long wavelength from semiconductor laser as a light source by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a phthalocyanine pigment and a specified compd. SOLUTION: This photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer contg. a phthalocyanine pigment and a compd. represented by the formula, wherein R1 is lower alkyl, each of R2 and R3 is optionally substd. methylene or ethylene, each of Ar1 and Ar2 is optionally substd. aryl, (l) is an integer of 0-4, each of (m) and (n) is an integer of 0-2, m+n>=2 and l+m+n<=6. The compd. represented by the formula is obtd. by dissolving a deriv. having chloroalkyl groups and hydrocarbon in nitromethane, adding a catalyst such as zinc chloride or aluminum chloride under stirring in a flow of gaseous nitrogen and bringing them into reaction at a low temp. The phthalocyanine pigment is preferably an X orτtype metal-free phthalocyanine pigment.
