FIELD: pharmacologically active substances. SUBSTANCE: method of isolating a new substance from human and animal gastric juice includes following purification steps: centrifugation, dialysis, ion-exchange, and lyophilization. Invention also provides a drug to be applied in medicine and veterinary and a method for its utilization when treating diseases and disturbances induced by stress effects, inflammation processes, edemas, diseases and disturbances with dopamine-ergic etiology, sugar disease, diseases and disturbances of functions of digestive tract organs, heart, kidneys, pancreas, liver, male genital glands, blood-generating organs, skeleton and nervous system, senile mental deficiency, wounds, burns, fractures, viral diseases, malignant neoplasms, in surgical practice, some disturbances of reproductive function and immune system. Substance is efficient in protecting against ionizing radiation and is apt to be applied in commercial stock-raising. EFFECT: enhanced therapeutic effect. 3 clp
