PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to easily impart a glide and change a glide speed. SOLUTION: When the user selects any of the music data stored in a memory cartridge 12 and strikes a playing operating element 7, the musical tone of the pitch of the music data is produced at this sound production timing. Then, the player is able to play a musical piece by repetitively striking the playing operating element 7 at the playing timing. When the playing operating element 7 is struck while pressing a glide switch 10 at this time, the glide is imparted to the musical tones and this glide speed is changed according to the pressing force on the glide switch 10.
