PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an inclined angle of a vehicle even while traveling. SOLUTION: A means 2 which measures acceleration of a vehicle based on a displacement amount of a movable body affected by gravity, and a means 3 which measures an acceleration of the vehicle based on a change of rotational amount of a wheel are provided, so that, based on a difference between the accelerations of the vehicle measured with each means 2 and 3, an inclined angle of the vehicle is calculated, thus a vehicle inclination angle detecting device 1 is constituted. By finding a sine component of the gravitational acceleration applied on the vehicle based on the difference between the accelerations measured with each means 2 and 3, the inclined angle of the vehicle is calculated.
