PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device having less influence due to environmental change or aged change and better half tone reproducibility. SOLUTION: The slope of the curve of developing toner amount against a developing bias electric potential and a developing contrast electric potential determined by the electric potential at the total exposure part of an image support is established to satisfy:|Vs|<|Vb|-|Vd|, 15<=Cv<=55(%), 0.8<=Ps/Pd<=2.1, 120<=(TcXRXPs/Pd)<=960 Where, Vs: Developing contrast electric potential at point located at one-fifth slope applied when developing contrast electric potential is around 0; Vd: Electric potential at total exposure part of image support; Vb: Developing bias electric potential; Cv(%): Toner covering rate applied to carrier surface; Pd: Image support moving speed; Ps: developer support moving speed; TC: Toner concentration (%); and R: Carrier particle diameter (μm).
