PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power without producing dissatisfied result in photographing by dividing the time of a photographing preparing condition and making the operating condition of a circuit system differ within each time area. SOLUTION: As to a charge control means 6 controlling a charge means 3 charging the main capacitor 2 of a stroboscope as this photographing equipment; since photographing frequency is high during 90 seconds measured by a first time-measuring means 4, charge check and recharge for an uncharged case are performed by each 65μS, for example, so that perfect full charge can be kept. LCD display on a camera main body is turned on for the 90 seconds. As to four hours succeeding to the 90 seconds which is measured by a second time measuring means 5; since the photographing frequency is not high, the charge check and the recharge for the uncharged case are performed by each 30 minutes, for example. The LCD display is turned off during the four hours. When the time-measuring operation by means of the means 5 is completed, the succeeding charge operation is stopped.
