FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plastic and reconstructive operations to form cavity for eye PROSTHETICS by way of replanting auto-conjunctiva. Defects of bone and soft tissues of eye- socket region are substituted by carbon-felt implant. Simultaneously, standard-size stump is formed. Plastic operation of auto-conjunctiva cavity is performed 6 months later on anterior surface of stump and posterior surface of eyelids. EFFECT: decreased probability of recurrence of shortening cavity and necessity of repeated surgical interventions. 2 dwgn
