PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an echo by decreasing a delay time of an input signal and to extend the attack time. SOLUTION: The processing unit is provided with a gaingenerating circuit 4 that generates a gain for compression/limit, based on a level of a digital audio signal and with a smooth filter 5 that provides a time constant for the gain for compression/limit, outputted from the gain generating circuit 4. The smooth filter 5 decreases the gain based on the received time constant comparatively more rapidly than a conventional example, and the time constant of the gain provided by the smooth filter 5 is extended by a time constant extension section 6 and its resulting output is set to a gain adjustment amplifier 2. |
