PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor that allows the vibration of a piezoelectric transducer to be taken out as the rotational motion of rotors. SOLUTION: One piezoelectric transducer is provided with rotors in a plurality of stages, and an output shaft 3 is connected to the rotor in the last stage. This obtains high rotational speed and output for input. Slits 6a, 8a, 8b are formed on the contact surfaces. This amplifies the motion of the comb-like piezoelectric transducer and/or the rotors at their surfaces in the lateral (circumferential) direction, and increases contact surface speed, which obtains higher rotational speed and output. Connecting the output shaft 3 to the first rotor 8 or the second rotor 11 intermediately positioned will obtain two types of rotational output without use of any decelerator, which simplifies the structure and enhances the general versatility. |
