PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conveyance apparatus by which an electronic component with a lead wire can be conveyed at high speed and surely by a method wherein the electronic component with the lead wire is conveyed by a conveyance chain so as to be transferred to a conveyance drum and the electronic component is transferred to, and returned from, a working position or the like from the conveyance drum. SOLUTION: A conveyance chain 2 conveys an electronic component 1 while lead wires at the electronic component 1 are being positioned so as to be brought into contact with faces, on one side, of a plurality of conveyance claws 15 which are attached so as to be faced at prescribed intervals. Then, the electronic component 1 which is lifted and taken out by a nozzle 3 is transferred, it is regulated to the right and left positions at its body part by the width of one pair of side guides 14, the lead wires are fitted to a groove 4a so as to be housed and held, they are arranged at a prescribed interval, their upper and lower positions are regulated by inside faces in holes in one pair of guide plates 7, their movement scatter or fall to the outer circumference is prevented, the electronic component is turned and conveyed on prescribed outer circumferential lines at the side guides 14 attached to conveyance drums 4, and it is transferred and fed to a working position, an inspection position, a storage place or the like. |
