PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a cathode-ray tube device in which no position change of a compensation electrode arranged in the vicinity of a panel is allowed, and no loss of properly cancelling effect of a leaking alternating electric field is allowed. SOLUTION: A cathode-ray tube device is equipped with a cathode-ray tube in which a reinforcing band 7 is fitted onto the skirt portion 2 outer periphery of a vacuum envelope panel 3, and a deflection device 8 mounted outside a funnel 4. In the cathode-ray tube device, a loop-like compensation electrode 11 which generates a reverse polarity electric field compensating a leaking alternating electric field generated from a horizontal deflection coil is arranged on the outer periphery of the reinforcing band, and the compensation electrode is held by a guide portion provided on the lug plate 13 and a guide portion of a fixture 14 fitted to the reinforcing band, and tension is applied thereto by the fixture. |
