PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle with a confirmation signal generator which is mounted on a receptacle of a power source for an attachment plug of an electric apparatus and the like and which makes confirmation of conduction and gives an alarm of abnormal heat generation. SOLUTION: An enclosure 1 having protruding terminals 2A, 2B which can be inserted into plug insertion holes of a power source receptacle is provided with a bimetallic strip 4 being in one body with one protruding terminal 2A, a contact piece 3 with which a tip end of this bimetallic strip makes contact attachably/detachably, and illuminants 5A, 5B each of whose radiant head parts protrudes from a window hole of a lid part 1B. With this device mounted on the power source receptacle, when a source voltage is guided between the protruding terminals 2A, 2B, the red illuminant 5A for confirming conduction is turned on. Further, when the receptacle is overheated due to some cause, the bimetallic strip 4 is deformed and its tip end part makes contact with the contact piece 3, and the red illuminant 5B for an alarm is turned on. |
