PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biosensor by which the concentration of a component, to be measured, in a living-body sample is measured in such a way that a response is subjected to the influence of a pH value in the living-body sample. SOLUTION: In a glucose sensor as an example of a biosensor, a glucose sensor element has a structure in which a glucose detecting film 7 is formed on a working elemectrode 1, a counter electrode 2, a pH-ISFET (a pH-sensitive FET) 3 and a reference electrode 4. The amount of hydrogen peroxide generated by an enzyme reaction is detected by a glucose detection part which is composed of the working electrode 1, of the counter electrode 2 and of the reference electrode 4, and a glucose concentration is found by a current measuring circuit. A pH value near an enzyme at this time is found by a pH detection part which is composed of the pH-ISFET 3 and of the reference electrode 4 and by a pH measuring circuit. The glucose concentration is compensated by the pH value in a glucose-concentration conversion and processing part so as to be displayed on a glucose-concentration display part. |
