PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve battery saving efficiency without shortening scanning cycles by providing a control part which changes the cycles of automatic scanning by switch operation outside a reception zone. SOLUTION: A CPU 103B processes a receive signal and decides whether or not the receive signal contains a synchronizing signal SC. When the SC is received here, a wait state is entered and when not, receiving operation is carried out sequentially in predetermined cycles as other area setting stored in a ROM 105. At this time, the CPU 103B monitors whether or not a switch 108 is operated. When the switch 108 is not operated, SC detection is performed as it is and when the SC is not received, automatic scanning in normal cycles is continued; when the SC is received, a wait state is entered. When the switch 108 is operated, on the other hand, a choice of whether or not quick scanning made shorter in cycle than the automatic scanning is performed is expected and when the quick scanning is selected by operating a switch 109, the quick scanning is carried out. |
