PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting apparatus which easily and quickly sets double-sided mounting board support pins and a method for setting the board support pins for the electronic component mounting apparatus. SOLUTION: A board 1 is mounted on the support bodies 5 and 7 of a supporting means 3. Electronic components are mounted on the top plane of the board 1. A perforated board 10 is mounted on the support bodies 5 and 7, and support pins 12 are inserted into the holes 11 of the perforated board 10. The perforated board 10 is a transparent acrylic board, and the support pins 12 are inserted at the positions where the pins do not touch the electronic components by seeing from above through the board 1. Then, a support board 13 is mounted on the top plane of the perforated board 10 to prevent the support pins 12 from removing. When the support pins 12 are inserted into the perforated board 10, a support unit provided by integrating the perforated board 10, support pins and the support board 13 is removed from the supporting means 3 and is set at the board positioning part of an electronic component mounting apparatus. |
