<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress display defects caused by dielectric breakdown or contamination due to discharge of electrostatic charges and to improve productivity by forming a discharge electrode electrically connected to a transfer electrode through a resistance film on a TFT substrate. SOLUTION: A discharge electrode 4 connected to a transfer electrode 3 through a resistance 5 is formed apart from an inner element 2. Before an Ag paste is applied on the transfer electrode 3, the Ag paste is applied on the discharge electrode 4 to ground the whole charges on the substrate. Then the Ag paste is applied on the transfer electrode 3. When the Ag paste is applied, electrostatic charges on the substrate are grounded by discharging. Since the discharge electrode 4 is connected to the transfer electrode 3 through the resistance 5, the inner element of the TFT substrate 1 is not broken. Moreover, even when the Ag paste or the structural material of the transfer electrode 3 splashes around, the inner element is not contaminated-because the inner element is enough apart from the discharge electrode 4.</p> |
