PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectilvely utilize a one-sided original by storing the image data of plural read one-sided originals and directly printing a corresponding image, read out of an image memory onto the rear face of the completely read one- sided original. SOLUTION: After the group of composite print originals composed of four one-sided originals is read in the order of pages from P1 to P4, for example, this composite print original group is set to a manual tray 91. When feeding the odd-numbered one-sided original out of the manual tray 91, the image data of the one-sided original read just after this one-sided original are read out of the image memory, but when feeding the even-numbered one-sided original, the image data of the one-sided original preceding to this one-sided original for one piece are read out of the image memory and respectively printed on the rear face. Specifically, the image of the one-side original on the next page P=2 is printed on the rear face of the one-sided original on the page P=1, and the image of the one-sided original one the preceding page P=1 is printed on the rear face of the one-sided original on the page P=2. |
