摘要

FIELD: preparatory procedures for disassembling spent fuel assemblies. SUBSTANCE: movable safety chamber for fuel assemblies has freight car with container placed on three mounts for its installation in vertical position by means of drive setting container in rotary motion in central mount journal; drive rotating fuel assembly about its longitudinal axis is mounted on container and cutting tool is placed in near-bottom part and has drive moving it along and across container. Container turning drive should be better made in the form of sleeve with pivot for supporting fuel assembly shank on one end and toothed rim coupled with reduction gear, on other end. EFFECT: improved safety in disassembling spent fuel assemblies. 2 cl, 4 dwgr
