The fixing for the trap base (1) on the coupling or adaptor (13) has the base tiltably mounted on the siphon by lateral hinges (2) and closures (3). The sealed joint is fitted in a groove (10) in the base via a sealing gasket (4) the later and the groove being situated at the level of the base. An intermediate section (5) which is slightly tapered can be placed between the drain opening and the siphon. The coupling can have grooves to receive sealing rings.
