PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase storage capacity and enhance functions by preparing a PC card equipped with a 2nd connector for connecting a 1st connector and an extension card together, connecting the extension card to the 2nd connector, and controlling the functions of the extension card in addition to the functions that the PC card itself has. SOLUTION: The extension card 9 has a connector 10 for connection with a socket 6 and includes a device 11 having a certain kind of function, and this device 11 is connected to the connector 10 and extension card 9 by a signal line 12. Then when the PC card and extension card 9 are connected to a socket 6, the 2nd connector 2b and connector 10 are connected to each other through metal pins 8, so the signal line 5 and signal line 12 are connected and a controller 3, a device 4, and the device 11 are connected. Therefore, the number of devices which can be controlled by the controller 3 can be increased only by connecting the extension card 9 to the pC card 1. |
