PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member's card issuing machine usable for merchandise sales and a rental system for realizing various sales and rental configurations. SOLUTION: The card issuing/depositing machine 8 issues an IC card 13 as a user's card for using merchandise dealing machines (3-7) included in a shop system 1. This card issuing/depositing machine 8 is provided with a card issuing means 8a which issues the IC card 13 based on the input information of the user, and a money processing means 8b which records an inputted sum as a deposited sum in the IC card 13. The recorded deposited sum is subtracted according to the usage of the IC card 13. Thus, various merchandise purchase and rental or the like can be attained by using the IC card with a large storage capacity compared with a magnetic card. Also, when the IC card is not necessary, convenience can be attained by clearing off and refunding the balance. |
