PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caught-in detector in a relatively lower manufacturing cost which is compact in fair appearance when mounted on a window frame. SOLUTION: A sensor 20 is integrally installed at the side end of a room for a glass-run 19 mounted on a window frame for an automobile. A pair of electrode plates 21, 23 constituting the sensor 20 are arranged opposing each other across an insulating elastic member 22. A number of protrusions 23a are formed on the upper face of the electrode plate 23, with the ends being shaped sharp enough to stick through the elastic member 22. When the thrust of an object caught in a window glass works on the sensor 21, both electrode plates 21, 23 are put in mutual contact via the protrusions sticking through the elastic member 22. |
