摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wiring and to provide an inexpensive optical communication equipment by transmitting signals and a power source by one line by using a coil, comparing the voltages across the coil and detecting whether or not an optical transmission part is normally operated. SOLUTION: The transmission signals generated in a transmission signal processing part 10 are outputted to a synthesis part 20 and a DC power source supplied from a power source part 30 is outputted through the coil 40 to the synthesis part 20. In the synthesis part 20, the DC component of the transmission signal processing part 10 is interrupted and the DC power source and AC transmission signals are synthesized and transmitted to the optical transmission part. By interposing the coil 40, the impedance of AC viewing the power source 30 from the transmission signal processing part 10 is raised. Also, the voltage across the coil 40 is compared in a comparison part 50 and a current supplied from the power source part 30 to the optical transmission part is detected by the potential difference of the terminals of the coil 40. At the time, by attaining the setting of detecting the current supplied to the optical transmission part at the time of optical transmission, whether or not the optical transmission is normally performed is judged.
