PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system which can accurately correct the tile of a projection point image and to improve the recognition precision of raised letters by specifying the angle corresponding to the largest one among total of degrees calculated for every angle as the tilt angle of the projection point extraction image and correcting the tilt of the projection point extraction image according to the tilt. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a braille read-in part 1 and a braille recognition part 2. Then, the system performs huff transformation for the projection point extracted image to find the distances of straight lines, passing respective projection points and having predetermined angles to a specific reference direction of an image memory 42, from a specific origin position of the image memory 42 respectively. Then, distributions of the degrees of the straight lines to the obtained distances of the straight lines from the origin positions are found by the angles to calculate the totals of more than a specified number of degrees are calculated by the angles. Then, the angle corresponding to the largest total among the totals of degrees is specified as the tilt angle of the projection point extraction image and on the basis of the tilt, the tilt of the projection point extraction image is corrected. |
