摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cross-connect an optional wavelength among a plurality of optional inputs and outputs. SOLUTION: Input optical fibers 30a-30d are respectively connected to input ports #1, #5 and #13 of a 16×16 array guide path grating 32 at an interval of 4 wavelength bands. Output ports #1-#16 of the array guide path grating 32 are distributed into four and connected to input ports of optical switches corresponding to each wavelength among 6 sets of 4×4 optical switches 34-1-34-16. In total 64 (=4×16) output ports of the optical switches 34-1-34-16 are connected to input ports corresponding to each wavelength in the 16×16 array guide path grating 36. Output optical fibers 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d are connected to the output ports #1-#4 of the array waveguide grating 36.
