PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a stereoscopic image so that images of an aimed position are put one over the other on a monitor in real time by detecting the quantity of a shift between two right and left images and shifting the two right and left images on the basis of the quantity of the shift so that they are put one over the other. SOLUTION: In an image memory 13L, a left-side optical signal converted by an A/D conversion part 11 is recorded. In an image memory 13R, a right-side optical signal converted by the conversion part 11 is recorded. A shift quantity detection part 15 detects the quantity of the shift between the right and left image data on the basis of the left-side image data recorded in the memory 13L and the right-side image data recorded in the memory 13R. A shift control part 17 judges whether or not the shift quantity needs to be varied from the shift quantity detected by the detection part 15, and when the shift quantity needs to be varied, the shift quantity is varied by varying the timing of a read of the image data from the memories 13L and 13R. The monitor 21 displays the image data converted into an analog signal by a D/A conversion part 19. |
