PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a symbol synchronization with comparatively high accuracy even under condition of low C/N and low BER (bit error rate) by obtained continuously a symbol synchronizing signal without addition of special synchronization information at a transmitter side. SOLUTION: An OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplex) moderation signal generated by the orthogonal frequency division multiplex modulation signal is received and demodulated by the OFDM demodulator. This device is composed of means 2, 3 extracting a residual high frequency component including head timing information of a cymbal, a means 4 generating a symbol cloak timing pulse from the residual high frequency component, and means 5, 6 generating the symbol clock obtained by eliminating jitters from a symbol clock timing pulse. |
