PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the electric connection of a translucent conductive layer and a contact securely in a good condition for a long period, by minimizing the abrasion of a ring member owing to the sliding of the contact, as well as securing the contact of the ring member and the contact. SOLUTION: While a translucent conductive layer 2 and a photoreceptor layer 3 are coated in order on the outer peripheral surface of a transparent cylindrical body 1, a ring member 4 made of a metal having a spring property which is connected at a reference potential is installed to at least one end side of the transparent cylindrical body 1, and the ring member 4 and the translucent conductive layer 2 are connected electrically so as to compose a photoconductive drum. |
