PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic toner excellent in antihot-offsetting property and having high transparency and to provide a fixing method by which satisfactory fixability is ensured without causing hot-offsetting. SOLUTION: This toner used for a heat press fixing method contains at least a colorant and a binder made of a fluorine-contg. ternary polymer represented by the formula. A toner image contg. the ternary polymer or a mixture of the terpolymer with a fluorine-free polymer as a binder is fixed between fixing members. At least a face of the fixing members brought into contact with a toner melted by heating has a surface based on a fluorine-contg. polymer.
