PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of tube joint fitting work at the time of fitting a tube joint to a box main body and reduce the cost of the tube joint by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A large-diameter pipe section 11 into which tubes are integrally inserted is provided on one side of a tube joint main body 10 and, at the same time, a small- diameter pipe section 12 which is inserted into the hole 5a of a box main body 5 is provided on the other side of the main body 10 and a contacting surface section 13 which is engaged with the peripheral edge section of the hole 5a is provided between the sections 11 and 12. Checking claw sections 31 and 32 which are protruded toward the section 13 are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the section 12 so that the claw sections 31 and 32 can be folded in claw grooves 33 and 34. The sections 31 and 32 elastically expand on the opposite side of the hole 5a after passing through the hole 5a when the section 12 is inserted into the hole 5a. Therefore, when the narrow-diameter section 12 is inserted into the hole 5a, the joint main body 10 can be fixed to the box main body 5 through one action, because the main body 5 is held between the contacting surface section 13 of the main body 10 and the front ends of the claw sections 31 and 32 which expand after passing through the hole 5a. |
