<p>A thermal recording body has high sensitivity and high whiteness. In a thermal recording body including an intermediate layer disposed between a support and a recording layer, a high sensitivity thermal recording body can be produced by using a latex having a heat-sensitive gelling property as a bonding agent of the intermediate layer and setting the pH value of a solution of the intermediate layer at 7.0 or more and the liquid temperature at the time of adjustment and production at not higher than 20 °C of the gelling temperature. A thermal recording body having high whiteness and extremely high printability can be obtained by adding a non-cross-linking type acrylic alkaline tackifier to the coating solution of the intermediate layer.</p> |
