The cultivator consists of a frame with two running wheels (2), a drawbar (3) and cultivating attachment (10) which is mounted on the frame and has a roller (11). The roller comprises three segments (11'-11''') which, in the direction of travel (26), line-up with the width (B) of the wheels and are separated by them. The three roller segments may have the same width (C) and a planing plate may be arranged in front of them.
