The bracket (2) has an angled part (14) by which the bath or tray rim (6) is connected to an insulator (44). One free end (26) of the bracket is supported on the wall (20) by an adjustable screw connection (30) which has a foot part (36) with a ball-and-socket joint, and or the foot part is placed against the wall via an insulator (38). The free end of the bracket has a threaded hole (28) into which the screw is screwed and or is secured by a nut (34) after being adjusted. The horizontal first bracket part (12) has an end (40) bent at right angles, and or has a cavity (42) into which fits an arm (10) of the bath or tray rim.
