Cylindrical-shaped fixing bolt

A fixing bolt (1) is of generally cylindrical shape with an outwardly-projecting rim (6) towards one end. It has a thread (11) at the other end, and faces (8) to which the tightening tool is applied. The fixing bolt is basically bush-shaped. The inner passage through the bush is blocked off by a plug (3) which is preferably cast as part of the bush.
