The unit is formed by a jet spoiler (6) on a rear side structural part (8). The spoiler consists of a pressure generator (9), a pressure vessel (10) and a blow-through slot (7). With the vehicle in motion, after a defined speed is reached, a sharply directed air jet (L) at high impulse flows through the slot and is orientated approximately perpendicularly to the rear upper side of the vehicle. The air jet is set slightly forwards and upstream in relation to a contour normal.
