<p>A carrier tape cutter which includes a moving blade (30) capable of reciprocating and having blades (31, 32) on both going and return limit sides, stationary blades (33, 34) so disposed as to oppose the blades on the going and return limit sides of the moving blade, respectively, for cutting a carrier tape by a shearing force, and partitioned carrier tape accommodation portions (37, 38) disposed below the shearing portions between the blades on the going and return sides of the moving blades and the blades of the stationary blades corresponding to the former when the empty carrier tape (23) from which the components are taken out is cut by the blade on the going side of the moving blade and the blade of the stationary blades on the same side corresponding to the former or by the blade on the return side of the moving blade and the blade of the stationary blade on the same side corresponding to the former, and classifying and collecting the cut carrier tapes in accordance with their kinds. Therefore, the carrier tape can be classified and collected in accordance with their kinds by changing the driving direction of the moving blade in accordance with the kind of the carrier tape.</p> |
