<p>The device for automatic collection of blood samples from the vein involves positioning ordinary test tubes on a motor-driven carriage (12), dispensing liquid and solid additives into the test tubes on the carriage (12), inserting into the vein a needle (5) connected to a hose (7) which is fitted with a terminal nozzle (21) at the other end, advancing the carriage (12) step by step, transferring the blood with an electric batching pump (8) into a hose (7) as far as the end nozzle (21) fitted on the sample-collecting test tube, and stoppering (32) the test tubes at the end of the operation.</p> |
