The cylinder head cover has at least along its long sides an outer edge (13), and the control box (11) ends in the plane of this edge with a flat face surface (15). The acoustic cowling (12) has an edge corresp. to the edge surfaces of the cylinder head cover and the face surface of the control box, and on the side turned away from the control box has a wall extending near to an upper surface of the cylinder head cover. - On the control box edge and that of the wall closed sealing ring (19) is fitted which locates on the corresp. surfaces of the control box and cylinder head cover to seal and noise-insulate when the acoustic cowling is screwed into position.
