<p>Starting from any calibrated measurement probe (4), existing in the market, the invention relates to the use of an intraoral optical camera (1) fixed to a support (5) at an appropriate distance from the calibrated probe (4), said camera (1) being assisted by a lens (3) which provides for a perfect focusing of the work area of the calibrated probe (4) within the periodontal pocket (6) of the patient. Said camera (1) provides images to a computer (8) which processes said images in order to supply information, through the screen (9), relative to levels of periodontal and periimplantary insertion, of bleeding and bacteria plate after probing, said information being of interest to analyse the gingival health status.</p> |
