The present invention relates to a device that includes a body (2) comprising a water-soluble solid-phase substance (1) attached therein. This body (2) includes at least one outlet opening (3) ensuring contact between the solid phase and the environment. The solid phase (1) includes chemical compounds that comprise in their composition a given chemical nutritive macro- or micro-element. The hygroscopic characteristics of these compounds make them capable of forming droplets and streams of solution of the substance contained in the solid phase at the surface thereof. The droplets and the streams flow freely and are formed in the hygroscopic humidity adsorbed from the gaseous phase of the environment. The solution thus obtained freely flows into the target medium through the outlet opening (3) in the device body (2). According to a variety of embodiments, the device of the present invention may be placed above the ground surface, on the ground surface, in water or into the ground.
