Joint zone between two separable parts esp. on transformer tray

The joint zone is formed between two parts, which are arranged close to one another, and which are particularly on a collection tank for a polluted insulating liquid in a transformer. The parts can be detached from one another, and the tank can have surrounding walls and a base or collection tray, which has associated guide profiles for the transformer on the inside of the base. At least one separable part has a liquid-tight seal with the collection tank. At least one control chamber (46) is arranged between the parts which are associated with one another. The chamber can be connected to a source of a flowing medium, which may be a liquid, as well as to pressure monitoring equipment, in order to monitor the condition of the seal.
