The drive slip regulation process is activated when the drive slip exceeds a preset slip value. It can be varied by the driver between a normal value and a higher special value for special service phases. A special service phase with independent raising of the slip limit value from the normal value may be activated when a high-load engine requirement, set by the driver, which releases the drive slip regulation engagement, is maintained for more than a certain preset period of time.
