PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate code signals even when a battery is used up. SOLUTION: In a key 1, a transmitter switch 4 and a code signal transmitting infrared-ray emitting part 5 are provided, in a vehicle side, an infrared-ray receiving part 7 and a CDI unit 8 are provided. In the CDI unit 8, a received key side code signal is collated with a code signal of an ID memory part 13, the key side code signal is judged for whether right or wrong, in the case of right, ignition control is made possible. A time for continuously transmitting the code signal generated by turning on the transmitter switch 4 of the key 1 is left as set longer than a time required for one time kick start. In this way, in a small sized motorcycle or the like, when battery voltage is decreased, in the case of performing a kick start, by this kick start, till operating a code signal receiver in a vehicle side, key side transmission is performed, whether the code signal is right or wrong can be judged. |
