The metal detector includes a carrying shaft at the front end of which is a hinged coil. In its upper end are electronics and a handle and an arm shell. The holding device (4) encompasses the electronics, the handle (5) and the arm shell (7). The holding device is partly movable along the carrying shaft (3) and can be locked to the shaft to prevent rotation. The holding device has a leadthrough in which the carrying shaft is guided when the holding device is moved along the carrying shaft. The holding device has a tongue and groove aligned longitudinally in the leadthrough which prevents rotation. |
