A metallic scrub tool which is easy to manufacture and is improved in flexibility, durability and operability. The scrub tool comprises a rod-shaped core material (2) of a rubber elastic body, and a scrub constituting element (3) formed by making a flat metallic wire material in a curled and/or coiled shape and wound in layers with both ends (2A, 2B) of the core material (2) integrally connected to each other by adhesives or other fixing means in such a manner that a central space (4) is formed into a doughtnut-shape, which has a size sufficient to deform the core material (2) to elongate the same in an axial direction. Extending through a curled or coiled interior of the scrub constituting element (3) is a rope material (5) for maintaining the shape of the scrub constituting element (3) to improve durability.
