<p>This invention concerns a rigid endoscope consisting of a jacket tube (19) with an optical system (1) and, parallel to the optic axis of the optical system, a first glass fiber bundle (2, 2') which emits a beam to illuminate one of the objects (8) to be examined and a second optical illumination system which also is directed at the object (8) being examined. The exit direction (3.1) of the light rays at the light exit (3.2, 3.2', 3.2'') of the second optical illumination system is laterally displaced a sufficent distance relative to the sight direction (optic axis 4) at the distal end (1.2) of the optical system (1), so that on the basis of the resulting parallax and the shadow formation and unequal light distribution achieved, the plasticity of image reproduction for three-dimensional objects (8) increases.</p> |
