Regulation method for ratio of fuel to air in working mixture of IC engine

The method involves regulating the mixing process depending on the output signal of a sensor which responds to the internal combustion engine's air and fuel mixture. For a gaseous fuel with mixed air, the output signal is produced by a sensor arranged between the mixer and the internal combustion engine. The arrangement is such that the sensor is preferably subjected to a homogeneous gas-air mixture. The sensor output signal preferably also depends on a sensor detection an excess of oxygen in the mixture.
