Foam ceramic slab making process

The slab making process produces the slabs by the continuous moulding of a foamed ceramic mass formed in a mixer (1) from a clay-based slip, foam and possibly other additives. It is poured from an outlet (7) of the mixer into moulds on a conveyor. The moulds used are disposable ones, e.g. of cardboard. They may be without bottoms, or may have closed bottoms. The moulds may follow each other on the conveyor in immediate succession closed up against each other. They may be supplied at regular intervals from a magazine.
