Rigid endoscope, e.g. for surgical instrument

The endoscope has a lens (1), a sleeve tube and a glass fibre bundle (2) which radiates parallel to the lens for illumination. The endoscope has an additional glass fibre bundle (3) which is integrated in the endoscope and radiates at an angle alpha (5) which is not equal to zero to the image axis (4) of the lens. Preferably, the glass fibres of the additional bundle are arranged coaxial to the lens. All three optical systems finish at the distal end of the endoscope. The glass fibres are cut at an angle beta (12). The light is separated into two glass fibre bundles and coupled into respective optically conductive fibre terminals.
