PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool the whole of the insides of a fuel pump and an engine cover in an outboard engine in which air-fuel mixture supply means and the fuel pump are arranged in an engine, by connecting an intake pipe to the outside air intake port of the air-fuel mixture supply means, and arranging the opening end of this intake pipe in the vicinity of the fuel pump. SOLUTION: In this outboard engine, an engine 3 is stored in the inside of an engine cover 2, a fuel pump 50 is fixed on an engine case 23, and a carburetor 52 being air-fuel mixture supply means is connected to the fuel hose of the fuel pump 50. A connecting flange 52a fastened to the intake port of a cylinder head 25, and an outside air intake port 52b connected to an intake pipe 54, are arranged in this carburetor 52, and the opening end 54a of this intake pipe 54 is arranged in the vicinity of the fuel pump 59. Hereby, when air is sucked from the opening end 54a of the intake pipe 54, outside air led to flow into from an air intake 58 flows forwardly in a longitudinal direction in the engine cover 2 and is sucked to the opening end 54a of the intake pipe 54, so that the whole inside of the engine cover 2 can be effectively cooled. |
